SilverSneakers® – Muscular Strength & Range of Movement

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

 
Silver&Fit Explore (30 Minutes)

Silver&Fit Level 1 is a social and upbeat group exercise class that is a great place to start for the active older adult. Functional strength

training and cardio exercises are alternated for a fun filled and effective workout that improves core strength and stability. Dumbbells, resistance bands and chairs can all be used.

 Silver&Fit Experience (45 Minutes)

Silver&Fit Level 2 is a social and upbeat group exercise class that is designed for moderately active older adults. Class alternates cardio exercises with total body muscle strengthening exercises using bands and dumbbells. Class is specifically designed to improve agility and core strength.

 Silver&Fit Excel (60 Minutes)

Silver&Fit Level 3 is designed to increase the participant’s flexibility, joint stability, dynamic balance, coordination, agility, reaction time, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance.

 Group Power

Group Power is your hour of power! This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors!  With simple athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels. Circuit Contact Kickboxing

Add some resistance to your kickboxing when you use the Kickboxing Bags.  This class incorporates basic martial arts moves and techniques, but with the use of bags.  Build up your strength as well as increasing your cardiovascular ability with increased intensity from this class. This class is taught in a circuit training style with cardio stations in between bag work. Beginners and advanced are both encouraged to attend this class!  No prior kickboxing experience needed!

 

Cardio Boot Camp

 Rev up your cardio training as well as strength training with this military style workout.  This intense cardio workout is designed to push you past your comfort zone and test yourself.  Using mostly body weight bearing exercises with minor use of strength training implements along with fast moving, plyometric and cardio training are sure to help you reach your fat burning and muscle toning goals.

 

Circuit Boot Camp

Cardio Boot Camp style with some circuit training thrown in for just a little more intensity!
